Created by Karen Illesca and Phillippa Webb, WHIRLD takes place in the world of academic psychology and is set to delve into the ethical, political and psychology of life. It features quirky characters that will often face incredulous circumstances – because life is stranger than fiction!

Centering around the life, love, family and work of disgraced corporate psychologist, Dr Tay Ken-Idee, storyline’s are set to examine the processes of human behaviour while advocating the importance of self care and mental health.

It is hoped that the WHIRLD pilot series can be a catalyst for production of three seasons of content that is already in draft form.

Principal casting was undertaken with the assistance of Anousha Zarkesh Casting.
